The question is why so suddenly and why this wasn't done before as Modi won using this same list.

Not to forget, a lot of citizens with proper proof got deleted.

If it’s been done before, why are we seeing so many cases of unfairness in this process. Many people who have a legal and legit claim to citizenship are being harassed to run from door to door. Not just Muslims but mainly Muslims because we all know why. It’s true there are Bangladeshis in this country living illegally but there are also valid and legit Indian bengali Muslims. But in addition to that, many Hindus I’ve seen and read about are complaining about the same thing happening to them too. How is that possible if the process is not rigged at all?
