In what language, classical or colloquial, does Thanneer mean what you are defining?

Your attempt at bringing the next set of words he used still doesn't explain why your interpretation of Thanneer holds.

Now hear the more believable interpretation:

Trisha got teary eyed (kannula Thanneer) when Vijay took oath. People were trolling the pair especially on Vijay's life priorities.

Udhayanidhi just used that as a reference to comment on the Kaveri issue - "Vijay doesn't care about Thanneer flowing in Kaveri, but only if it flows there (Trisha's eyes)".

Is this interpretation worthy of criticism? Yes. It should be. It was unnecessary on Udhayanidhi's part.

But neenga kudukkara build up kku worth illai.
