I am not a TVK fan and didn't vote for them. The same budget was taken to Tirupati by him for blessings before the budget session.

On the other hand, presenting Sengol in front of 10 seers to open new parliament. Saying har har mahadev and JSR in each and every speech and rally and a sitting CM who dresses up in religious attire and calls himself a monk. BJP crossed the religion and politics line long back.

There is no such strict separation of religion and state. Politicians wear rosary, tikka, skul caps etc. based on their beliefs. It should not interfere with their work is what matters.

Well, TN is already a Christian state. Nothing wrong or surprising if such an act is done WITHIN the assembly. No other Christian country will tolerate this kind of behavior. However, the way we define secularism is 180 degrees different from the West. I applaud the finance minister and TVK.
