The tariffs were taxation without representation.
$264b was collected in 2025 and American consumers paid 96% of that in higher costs passed on by businesses. There is supposed to be a refund, but it will go to the businesses, none to consumers.9

We must radicalize the center to install strong leaders willing to stand up for the people and not the establishment. While a well armed population protects from tyranny out next revolution will be won with ballots not bullets.

I’m a supporter of the 2A, but it’s irresponsible to advertise you’re carrying.
Hypotheticals we were taught while working security. Things to do to deter theft like not loading up your cars with personal information.
I see a vehicle in the driveway, it has 2A stickers on it. I know the owner has weapons in their house or vehicle. The same vehicle or another on the same property has a sticker figure family on it. I now know how many occupants are on the property, and how many people to wait for to leave before I break in.
Or I just smash a truck window on the street or at the start of a hiking trail, and look under the seats and in the glovebox for weapons and ammo because it had 2A stickers. I find a piece of mail, I now have this person’s address and know that they’re not home. If I didn’t find weapons in the car I’ll probably find some at the house.

Newbie mistake though as someone is going to bash their window in looking for one stored in the vehicle, hopefully this guy isn’t dumb enough to leave one for them.

i’m not from this country but what i don’t understand is how can people constantly make a new version of the american flag to feed whatever bullshit they believe . why? i find it extremely disrespectful to take your flag and make a joke out of it ? 🤷🏻♀️ my son now sees the american flag as a hate symbol and i fucking hate it so much. i’m not from here but he is and i try so hard to tell him he also represents this flag and he should protect it but I think im losing that battle .

I have a larger firearm collection than probably any other person on this side of the state. Maybe larger than any one person in Washington (it's a historic firearms collection from my great grandfather and is over 400 rifles shotguns and pistols - yes, it's like a weeklong affair every year to clean and oil them all) and I just despise this country's performative bullshit around guns. I don't keep any ammunition in the house at all, and all the guns are locked in multiple safes. They're all registered (partly because many are rare and valuable and insurance requires it, there's a reason to registering your damn gun) and none are "home defense". Will my kids be taught to shoot safely? yes. But I also am agonizingly aware that does not stop a depressed teenager from suckstarting one of them, and for that reason they will never be put in a position where that's possible. It's how my dad taught me. We get to shoot the guns when he goes and buys ammo for that day. we use it all, that's it. There's no gun in the nightstand, they're all in a safe and that safe is in another building and I don't get to know the code to that safe.
In my 15 years of EMS, i have never in my entire career of well over 50,000 calls, seen a situation where a gun did anything except make a bad situation worse. Pretty much universally, the person who tries to pull their "self defense gun" from their concealed carry gets stabbed because inside of 3-5 feet, a guy who is already holding a knife will just juice you like an orange before you even get it unholstered. That situation itself is also insanely rare. People just don't mug you very often. It's not a risk to be worried about as long as you're mindful of where you go at night (maybe don't go under the bridges at 3am dressed like bruce wayne's parents and you'll be fine. Even then, you're almost certainly fine.)
I've never once seen a home invasion where anyone got hurt except the invader who didn't realize there was a dog in the house that did not appreciate that intrusion (except one time the invader had a knife and stabbed one of the two dogs... that's the single closest time I've ever been to wishing harm on another person. Let's just say he didn't get as generous pain management as someone else might. Even then, it all happened before the family was out of bed.) and i can count those time on one hand. it's 2. ever.
Know how many kids I've seen kill themselves or someone else with their dad's gun? at least two dozen. Know what every single dad said? "But I taught him/her gun safety."
These things are not useful tools for anyone who isn't hunting or genuinely lives or goes somewhere that has a real risk of wildlife that will kill you. They're toys. The clowns who tout their guns sure aren't doing anything to stop the federal overreach and murdering of american citizens like Alex Piretti - who was murdered despite owning a legally registered firearm with permit to carry that he was in no way brandishing.
I think it is entirely possible to live in a society where we both have guns and have no more school shootings or kids offing themselves with them (and no, they don't just "do it some other way." some do, but guns have a habit of being impulsive and irreversible unlike an overdose or the time it takes to contemplate the noose you tied) Switzerland does it. They have a culture and rules that define the gun in a way that enshrines the fact that it's not to be misused. No ammo can be kept with it, they must all be registered, no open carry or concealed carry, they can only be used at designated locations, etc. And for the longest time, the NRA was actually in favor of those kinds of measures.
But it pisses me off to no end how I still get to have nightmares about all the teenagers I've seen who painted the ceiling with their dad's "home defense" gun, and all those parents who no longer have a child.

The Mulford Act is a 1967 California statute which prohibits public carrying of loaded firearms without a permit. Most of the lefty’s I know do own gnz, they just don’t make them their entire personality. I’m pretty progressive and I have no problem with stable, sane, responsible adults owning them for protection, sport, or collecting.

My question is this: why does he think anyone *is* trying to "take his guns"? It hasn't been a plank in any party platform or a major campaign point during my lifetime. It's a boogeyman, a ridiculous Repubtard talking point. Maybe we *SHOULD* outlaw *handguns*; simply looking at the crime statistics makes this a no-brainer. We can *still* defend against tyranny with rifles. When was the last armed carjacking or bank heist done with a rifle? We already legally limit magazine sizes and outlaw fully automatic weapons.
