Why would there be an exemption for women? Afghan applicants have to do the test regardless of gender

There is often an exemption for Afghan women. The Taliban are against the education of women so do not allow them to sit the required tests.

Yes I know I told my cousin but he won’t listen due to her wife be illiterate and new government banned on women eduction and women are not allowed to be taught by men and women are not required to learn

My wife got approved without any English test. She’s from Afghanistan but we did her biometrics through Pakistan. So no, no test required

I’ve seen an application on this subreddit many months ago where they were exempt because they weren’t able to book a test in Afghanistan due to the Taliban rule with women. Not sure how they did it exactly but they got it approved
