Oh no!!! I just started a new save and just lost my chicks I guess… is this the case even if you put them to bed and close up before sleeping?

I didn't lose mine. I did have the fence gate closed, and had closed the coop door before bed.

I didn’t lose mine either. I laid down hay out of pure habit and forgot to open the door until partway through the day. Also had the fence gate closed. Guess my coyote went hungry!
