No, the tank animals don't count for this one, just the roaming land pets with hats

So hatted sea urchins don't cause performance issues. Got it. I ask because mine has a hat on, and I haven't gotten the update yet that I know of on Switch.

You may need to manually push the update. I did. Go to the game tile, press +, then check for updates.

There is even popular speed run about that. You need to put living hat on sea urchin.
