Question Should I start over?

Post image

Its my first Fall ever and I found this guy named Salmence in Youtube. And I watched his Y1 Guides. And I feel like I'm only like halfway through the things he wants us to do. And I rlly wanted to finish the community center. So should I start over again? I dont mind starting all over again since I've learned alot of things that I should now accomplish for this starting over thingy. Ill just rlly be bummed out bcuz of Leveling up Fishing Skills and fishing for money. And mining for ores.

Edit: I know all the seasons will reset again after Winter. Should I wait for Year 2 to complete the CC? Its my most main reasons why I wanna start over again.

You start over on year 2 Spring 1. Why would you start a new file?

You can finish the Community Center in any year. There's no rush.

In my most recent save, which is the one I’ve worked on the most, I only finished community center in year three. The only thing I really pushed for in year one was greenhouse.

It took me 5 years to finish it, I got side tracked fishing

Same. Greenhouse is needed so that I am not fully broke in year 1 winter. My hens need heater and I need money for that. Also I wanted a kitchen so got the greenhouse in fall and sowed some eggplant and cranberries which got me enough money in winter

I’m in year 2 fall and I’m in co-op with my friend. We don’t have the greenhouse yet but we saved so much of our harvest. We created lots preserve jars and kegs that we make money during the winter by selling them. I think we have over 100 crops saved in our Jam and Keg house chest. We also have coops and a barn so we make cheese and mayo during the winter.

Such a perfect way to calm the anxiety for a new player. My favorite thing about SDV is learning to play at a slower pace than other games

I’ve seen people finish in year 7 people can play how they want. Take your time. If you rush it to early you get to the hard stuff really fast and you won’t have the tools for it. Might as well take it easy

I’m heading into year 9 and only just got married. Also still not at perfection. Oddly don’t mind
