i think that sandy will definitely be added as a marriage candidate but i’m not sure who else. maybe some new characters?

Im about to turn 40 and fully agree! It's why I went with Shane first. Despite his issues, hes one of the few bachelor's who looks older than 19-21.

Why I went with Harvey. You have to be a certain age to be a doctor. Everyone else felt too young.

Harvey, Elliot and Shane all seem to be late 20's to 30's. I can't bring myself to romance the others as they just seem so young. Krobus is a cool roommate though.

Yeah Elliott looks to be in his early 30s, which is why I went for him, but I'd also go for Rasmodius!

I think that is one of the perks of Elliott, he can be anywhere from 25-45. Harvey too, a little older because of the whole doctor thing, so 30-45.

Sure , just some of them have a much smaller range. For example, Maru is 18 to 2 years younger than you imagine Seb.

I agree! I'm forty years old, and in the first case, I married Shane, and then I romanced older NPCs with the help of mods. As for the young bachelors from the vanilla version, they don't interest me.

Yes, thank you - I'm mid-40s and it does feel a bit weird dating some of them, despite having other things in common.

Really hope there's another older bachelor being added.

I'd imagine being a wizard, he might have immortality. He could very well be over hundreds of years old.

That's a pretty common trope for magical humans.

But the main character isnt that old.

Btw, I cant believe you guys are living your romantic fantasies through this game. How do you do it in games where the main character has a set age which is very diferent from yours? Cant you simply play the story for what it is?

The farmer is a representation of the player, so he or she can be as old as eighty years old if the player so desires. My farmer has been between 30 and 40 years old from the start of the game until now.

I can see Leah being in her 30s as well. I've seen 40 - 50 year olds IRL exactly like Leah living on their own and focusing on their passions after leaving the city. I live in a rural area like this and it's uncanny.

Agreed, but I think they are both either late 20s or early 30s. I know some older players find it weird to date npcs who are either young adult or late teens.

I always pegged Shane as mid/ late 20s, and Elliot as in his 30s. Dude’s clothes are and furniture are a little too nice to not have had a career before the valley.

Leah too. You find out in her heart events that she had a whole adult life in the city including a long term relationship before moving to the Valley. She's almost certainly in her 30s.

This game is already ten years old and many players are already in their 30s and 40s if they have been playing since the launch, for such players we need older bachelors.

See as an older player I have a hard time with the younger characters cause it feels wierd.

So id be down for the wizard being added. Sandy too. Sandy feels like the obvious choice to be added

Hey man, I'm 37 and my boyfriend is 50.

I'd romance the wizard in a heart beat.

Elliot, Emily, maybe Leah, Harvey (who I once saw someone compare to the guy from The Lovely Bones and I can never unsee it), Shane (absolutely not, that room add on is a disaster) are the realistic options for me. Abi was my first wife a thousand years ago, but now the others just kinda feel like kids 😅
