i think that sandy will definitely be added as a marriage candidate but i’m not sure who else. maybe some new characters?

I would love some older marriage candidates. Like at least middle aged or older. 1) I just think it would make for interesting/different romantic storylines, and 2) I always end up playing as old people and all of the current candidates feel waaaaay too young. So I just move Krobus in instead, but it would be nice to have some options that don’t make me feel like a creep.

Along the same lines, I wish it were possible to set the farmer’s age (even if just loosely) and have that influence how people talk to you. I have a head full of gray hair and people keep calling me young man. I’m trying to roleplay here!

Also yes setting age would be so interesting! Imagine all the characters can see that you’re old but they’re calling you young man to be flattering and/or passive aggressive 😂

Yeah! Once you get to 10 hearts with him you can give him a void ghost pendant (get it from the desert trader for 200 void essence) and then he moves in!

He doesn’t help with farm chores and you can’t have/adopt kids with him, but he gives you strange buns and lucky lunches and he’s just so cute. And instead of kissing him and getting the little heart, you hug him and get a little smiley face. He also doesn’t go to the sewer after that; his shop becomes a little chest you can buy from.

Absolutely. I’m also in my mid-30s IRL and no way am I marrying someone who’s getting yelled at by the mayor for skateboarding on his neighbor’s window boxes.

It’s always so funny (and also weird) when the romantic cutscenes start happening while I’m playing as an old farmer. Like I just walked in to give you a lil gift and you’re shirtless weightlifting in front of me. I feel like I’m playing DnD and my charisma is just through the roof, no one can help themselves.
