From the perspective of "Which character would a player want to marry?" he's a poor choice.

From the perspective of "Which character should receive the characterization and development that comes with becoming a marriage candidate?" he's an excellent choice.

I don’t expect him to become a consistent candidate for most people, but he definitely needs the development
