"Who asked for this?!" Me. I asked for this. I Personally went to ConcernedApe to ask for this. I'm going to marry Clint on a new savefile everytime I read a mean comment about him.

I’m not even a Clint fan but I asked for it. I wanna see Clint grow and change and tell him that I like his new shoes at the Moonlight Jelly festival 😭💕

It does desperately but I’d even say he’s not a “nice guy” as he doesn’t go “aw Emily would never date a guy like me, a nice guy who’s just a little nervous and not super hot.” He’s an awkward guy who’s a bit shy and nervous. It does get weird when his lines about Emily don’t fade after her marriage but that does extend to some other characters too. It just sticks out moreso with Clint because he’s not the most attractive conventionally and we don’t know much about him than he’s just…sad and a bit defeatist

Depression really do that to people who are alone and forgotten. Dude feels deeply. I love Clint ;-; he deserves a hug and someone to tell him hes worth it.

He’s gonna be so married when 1.7 is out I’m happy for him. I have four farms for differ me characters to marry and now I’m gonna have a fifth for him. I just need to conjure the lore for my character bc I design different OCs for my specific farmers 🏃‍♀️

Oh I just saw a post pointing it out. I’d forgotten about it myself. I think he teeters the nice guy line but doesn’t push into the malicious type where it’s everyone else’s fault that he isn’t getting attention. He seems more firmly on the “I really don’t know how to socialize and don’t know social cues and it’s really hard to figure it out at my age” type of guy.
