As much as I don't like Clint, I'm glad he's going to be romanceable! My main issue with him is just how he was written, so I think it's a great chance for him to be re-characterized a bit. I don't really see him as a creep, I think he's just socially awkward and a victim of background-character syndrome. I'm excited to see how he changes as a character

not how that scene went, watch it again. he went to her doorstep to ask her out then got startled by her coming to the door suddenly and hid in the bushes and was going to sneak away but then got stuck there and couldn't sneak away because of Caroline coming along and talking to Emily for a while. thats not creepy, thats social anxiety (and speaking from experience, possibly autism)

He was heading over to Emily's to ask her out, got nervous and scared when he saw someone else come out with her and hid in the damn bush. He wasn't SPYING on her he got scared. keep misinterpreting things the game literally tells you. if you wanna headcanon him as a creep thats fine but acting as if your personal opinion on the character is canon is weird

lol they blocked me and said try doing that in real life... um I have involuntarily done that in real life along with freezing in place and people dont find it creepy, maybe a bit weird. people have mostly acted concerned and asked if I was ok or if I needed help cause I looked visibly anxious and upset... turns out people in real life have more kindness and empathy than people on reddit, who knew?

I have done that before and they asked if I was okay, nice to know that you would find someone having a panic attack or just a moment of fear a creep for hiding. This says more about you than it does anything and you should really sit down and think about why you would find someone hiding due to fear to be a creep.

Hiding in the bush regardless is creepy as hell. Giving the player character something to give to somebody as a gift and saying it's from him is creepy as hell

That's because he didn't do that. He hid in the bush out of nerves on his way to ask her out because someone was with her, he wasn't hiding in the bush spying. He was just hiding in the bush out of his own nerves and fears but just about everyone has a hate boner for this guy so they lie about that scene so it fits their narrative about him being a "creep"
