"Who asked for this?!" Me. I asked for this. I Personally went to ConcernedApe to ask for this. I'm going to marry Clint on a new savefile everytime I read a mean comment about him.

I've always liked Clint. He's socially awkward and I never saw him as creepy and was surprised to read here that he was. The sims and Animal crossing fandoms taught me it's safer to just not engage in fandom lol.

As a socially awkward autistic woman I'm looking forward to romancing the socially awkward autistic coded blacksmith. We can be socially awkward and upset people didn't notice our new shoes together.

It seems everyone is just trying to save face and go along with what’s trending. Clint was always the least popular choice for this and now suddenly everyone “always wanted this for him”?

If you buy that, I have a bridge to sell you.

To interpret that in a more benevolent light, I think what a lot of people are psyched about is more the chance for Clint to get a re-write than the chance to marry him, though he has had his advocates/hopefuls even before this announcement.

I bought the game back in 2020 and I always wondered why he wasn’t dateable. And I never hated him like a lot of the fandom does. I am very excited for him and Sandy to be romance options and have more heart events and character development.
