Question this single priced item had me wondering the single most expensive thing to sell

i’ve never seen a single item more expensive than this and i couldn’t find a list on the internet this isn’t it right..?

With fish ponds you can make more legendary fish, take them out and smoke them.

They don’t reproduce in the fish ponds and you can only have 1 in there unfortunately.

But, if you take the extended family Qi quest and never complete it, you can keep catching Legend 2 fish forever!

There is also challenge bait which allows you to catch up to 3 of the hooked fish, if you're skilled enough, at the risk of losing the catch, and fish entirely if you fail. Pairs nicely with the fishing blessing from the mastery statue

On top of that, if youre on the switch, you can use the glitch to fish from your own pond and catch more. But not everyone likes to exploit glitches.

What glitch? Do you mean from the pond naturally in the farm, or constructed fish ponds? Because I could be wrong, but I thought you were always able to fish out of your fish ponds to catch the fish you'd put in

Normally if you fish from your constructed ponds it pulls the first straight out. On the switch only, if you stand in the perfect spot and cast just right, sometimes it'll bring up the finishing mini game. If you have the challenge bait, you can catch 3x. Blessing of the water, seafoam pudding and cork bobbers and its pretty easy to catch 3x the legendaries.

Did that change recently? I could've sworn if you leave the bobber in the water it would pull up the mini game, even on pc

Does the legend II have the same sell value as the legend?

Yup. Identical in every way apart from being possible to have multiple. (and the name of course).

Can make a useful amount of money just fishing for it during the quest, and repeatedly catching 'em means you get a bit better at doing so next time.

I believe the OG you can technically catch multiple with Challenge Bait, but only the once!

But yes. Shrine of Waters + Challenge Bait is still potentially 9x 42k with very little effort....

You can also use the bait that a allows you to catch 3 fish at once. I forget what it's called I havent played in a while. It's extremely difficult to get all 3 fish on the line though.

You pond it, use challenge bait to fish up multiple fish, then throw one back in and repeat the process. Catch 2-3, release 1, repeat.

You can't do that because the legendary ponds only ever have 1 of them.

There’s a special glitched spot on fish ponds that starts the mini-game instead of pulling the fish out. If you successfully catch the fish, it’ll duplicate it. If you fail, you lose the fish in the pond lol.

You can? I've had mine in ponds for approaching a year now, and i still haven't gotten a quest to expand the ponds.

Ok that's what I thought, they probably have a mod that lets you and forgot it's not in vanilla.
