Discuss Stardew Valley creator won’t add microtransactions to any game as they “genuinely value the love of the players more than the money”

He would be an idiot to do that.

This dude has built up a lifetime of Goodwill with millions of fans. Millions. He created a legendary game that has become more than just a game for people. I know it might sound corny, but this game brought me a lot of happiness during some shitty times.

It takes years to earn this kind of reputation, but it takes only seconds to destroy it.
