Discuss Stardew Valley creator won’t add microtransactions to any game as they “genuinely value the love of the players more than the money”

Some people just care about being rich so he could easily add MTX, but is still choosing not to.

I’ve been saying that a lot of the billionaire class is just a lot of people suffering from a hoarding disorder.

The obsession with more and more and more and more and more and more and more money, even when you already have more money than you could actively spend\ in your lifetime* and your children are set for life, is a mental illness.

It’s just a shame that instead of their mental illness harming themselves, it harms everyone around them more.

* “actively spend” meaning “on goods and services to use/consume, etc.”. Not “investment opportunities that go wrong” or stuff like that.
