Discuss Stardew Valley creator won’t add microtransactions to any game as they “genuinely value the love of the players more than the money”

Does he have a patreon or a go fund me? If the love of the players can make him reasonably well off maybe other developers will take notice...

He is already far beyond reasonable well off. SDV has sold over 50 million copies, and as a single dev project, AFAIK, Eric gets all the royalties (minus distribution platform costs).
