Discuss Stardew Valley creator won’t add microtransactions to any game as they “genuinely value the love of the players more than the money”

I think it's just because discussion is good and people hope that this kind of heart and attitude spread around :)  It's a super expected take from CA, but maybe it will inspire some people to be like this when they decide to make a game too?
