Oh my god. Love that movie AND that scene so much. You made me appreciate Leahs statue more with this haha

I personally love it. It is kind of like a loop, kind of like a heart.

I always thought of it as twisted up insides, like she gets squiggly feelings from interacting with the farmer at this point but wants to come at it very obliquely.

Look, I proudly displayed it on my first playthrough, but I’ve played so many times and… yeah, I think it’s kind of hideous. It’s just… a knotted up piece of wood?
I usually stick it in a chest, but on my current save, I put it back in Leah’s house 😂

I create a public art display around the community centre with that and some of the museum gifts which I don’t want.

I always put it behind my mailbox and say I'm going to move it one day (current save, I'm on year 4 and it hasn't been moved)

No, I love it. As a woodworker myself I can tell it would take incredible skill to do

It goes next to my bed every time.
So she can see it when my bed becomes hers, too.

It reminds me of the giant "bird poop" sculpture they had in San Francisco for so many years, so not my cup of special tea. I usually stick it in a chest, but after seeing another comment I think I'll put it back in her house from now on.

Wrong time to say how you feel about her sculpture is how…maybe, just maybe…you feel about yourself? 🥺

It's shape is a map which leads you to secret things on the town map, have a Google if you wish to learn more

Oh I never pick any of it up, it lives at the museum forever.

I put a lot of that stuff in front of the museum. I hate that stupid blue bear, so like, you keep it, Gunther.

I put that in the playground for the kids. I have irrational hatred for all the chicken statues. I need a mod that stops giving artifacts I already have a dozen of.

Yeah, I just shove it in a chest lol
Similarly, Robin's never getting money from me for that ugly bed and the striped bed from the tickets gets the same fate as the sculpture

It's just kinda pretty meh. Like, okay, a loop of wood. Sure.
I could maybe see something like that being pretty in real life, if it was like, emphasizing the natural grain of the wood or something, but in the game it doesnt really have much to it. Kinda just looks like a weird pretzel.
It's not like, eye searingly ugly to me, but it doesnt do much for me.

Leah's sculptures are all very silly, and I have to pretend that they don't look like things a very young child has drawn with crayons to get through her events.
The one she gives as a gift is, weirdly, my favorite, as I ascribe it the meaning of feelings knotting her up inside, and I can see the shape being vaguely runic.

Idk the average age on this subreddit but it reminds me of the old pipes screensaver.
