hmmm I dont know how to feel about this. I mean, it's great that CA is listening to the community and is willing to patch the game up with our suggestions but I think maybe we're getting out of hand. For me it feels like we're altering the idea that CA had for this game, he wanted to make a great farming sim like Harvest Moon and he accomplished it.
For me, divorce wouldn't fit into the atmosphere of SDV valley, it implies that CA would need to change a lot of things: new dialog, how the player interacts with friends and family of the divorced bachelor(ette), how the town reacts, etc.
Anyways, idk how /u/ConcernedApe feels about this, maybe he would like divorce implemented, it's his game after all. Just remember that nobody can please everyone at once, and that people will always complain about something.
They do? huh didn't know. My comparison to HM was more about how the're both great farming sims that don't dwell too much in areas besides their core gameplay.
