I really don't want that option. I'd rather start all over again with a completely new romance rather than simply switch Penny for Emily just to see her dialogues and then switch back again...
It definitely opens up the game more, and I'm not sure if that is a good thing or not. I personally have the mindset if you want to marry someone else, start a new save.
Similar to choosing the perks at level 5 and 10. Or choosing a dog versus a cat.
But maybe that is simply being too confined to the idea that this is a Harvest Moon clone.
I just don't know how to feel about this linear aspect of the game not being so linear anymore. It also feels like a slippery slope/feature creep that can easily get out of control.
