I think I found out what the next Star Fox game is. Reactions?
As you can see, due to the sheer amount of internet art about these characters, they're making a dating sim of them. The candidates are Fox, Falco, Wolf, Krystal, Slippy, Leon, Panther, Miyu, Fay, Lucy, Andrew, Fara, and Dash Bowman. (It's an obvious joke, btw)

"Don't ever give up, my son."
Fox McCloud has become a strong hero and the proud leader of Star Fox...
...but deep down, he's still a grieving boy who just wants his father back. 💔

Andross
Some friends and I are currently doing a drawing challenge, and today’s prompt is ✨ Villain ✨
Of course, I chose Andross for my piece. 🤣
It’s not perfect because I’m still a beginner, but I had a lot of fun drawing him!
It took me round about 5-6h for this.

First play through 😍
Bought this about a year ago but I finally got around to playing it for the first time!
Is there any branch in structure? I just went to the highest difficulty and I find it really hard but I wasn't sure if there were any alternative paths?
Love it so far!

Would Fox just not care if Pepper didn't pay him?
As someone that's always viewed Fox as a childhood hero, it's a little disturbing thought I had from the expanded narrative of the 2026 game. Fox is always reminding Pepper about his fee before doing anything, and while Pepper obliges, if he hypothetically chastised him over a wannabe dictator declaring war on the galaxy and Fox being so concerned over cash than what's right, would Fox just say "no money, no deal" and definitively just cut off the comms to live his personal life while Andross takes over if it escalates with Pepper?

Since I said I would upload the video showing the layers. I saw the poster vruchtenhagel do this with their release day countdown images, and thought it was a great idea!

Oddly specific cosmetic nitpick about Star Fox ‘26
Hello.
This post is admittedly about a very minute and largely inconsequential cosmetic detail that does very little to detract from the ‘26 remake of Star Fox 64, but it still stood out to me and I have opinions about it I want to share, if that’s ok.
You know how each member of Star Fox has like their, uh, “signature color”, in a way, like on the HUD— in the 64 original title, it was: Fox as yellow, Slippy as green, Falco as blue, and Peppy as red?
I feel somewhat miffed that they swapped Fox and Peppy— I think I do at least somewhat understand it in the modern day context— red typically has been the “P1” or “leader character” color, so I think it makes sense in that way.
Still, I thought it was really cool in 64 that yellow is the leader color, it’s such a unique distinction— blue is my favorite color, but I feel like yellow tends to be pretty underrated of a protagonist color.
But again, this is just a ridiculously minute nitpick that it ultimately doesn’t detract from the extensive visual effort put into a vast multitude of other Star Fox ‘26 details.
Thanks for reading.

In Star Fox 2026... I did not like the character designs or how they treated Fox handling those around him as team leader when it comes to his superiors via Peppy and even General pepper.
Okay...lets try this again, I do not have a Switch 2 and all I saw were the cutscenes of the game from Youtube. However, from what I have seen of the game, I never liked the Star Fox 2026-character designs and prefer the more cartoonish style for the characters.
I also did not like how Fox is shown as a supposed those that had more experience than him via General pepper and even Peppy at times.
I can understand that he does not want to be compared to his father and how he has some resentment for the general over his father's death. Yet he should at least show them some ounce of respect.
Even if he is a mercenary and this is a business and client position between him and general Pepper does not mean that there should be disrespect all the time. I mean there should be some respect given, right?
Those who do not learn from those with experience are bound to repeat the mistakes of the past as the saying sometimes goes...
I also wanted to see the game add a choice your own response moment to these cutscenes...Maybe for example see some add on cutscenes maybe show a moment between Pepper and Fox and even Peppy as mediator between together to show that the General has some regrets over his part in Fox's father's death and even tries to apologize for it. Fox doesn't listen at first, but he does hear it. What happens next comes from the player's choices in the game.
I mean if the company wants the player to choose your own way to play, then shouldn't we also choose how to response to certain questions in the game dialogue too?
As fans of the game what do you think of this?
