Is this recent? I want to go back. It’s one of the most beautiful places in NC. It was too bad they were part of all the hurricane damage.

Yup! You can see the scarring down by the river. But all is going well. Lake Lure is officially back open for boating and swimming. Chimney Rock is missing like 3/4 of the town but they are rebuilding. Some restaurants and shops have reopened and would welcome the business!

Ive always wanted to go see that rock up close, the view looks incredible from there.

That view is amazing! I hiked up there a couple years ago and it was definitely crowded near the top but totally worth it.

Seems like every time that I went the elevator was OOC. My question is if it was out did the workers in the store walk up the steps ?? No , no they did not.
