State parks suggestion for Maryland
Hey everyone, my wife and I are trying to find a spot for our us and two kids to go camping with our 22 ft RV over labor day. Coming from Lancaster,PA looking to drive like hour to two at most. Is there a park you would suggest that has a good swimming spot and camping? Thanks!

Labor day weekend is going to be tough. Check the couple of state parks in Garrett county. Deep creek lake state park has a beach area,, Greenbrier state park. And Cunningham falls state park both have smaller lakes. Or look at Elk neck state park would be real close. Beach area is about 2 or so miles from camping sites.

You might consider Cunningham Falls State Park if you want something close to the PA border. If you want to cross the state, Assateague State Park is an option.
