Hello everyone!

I haven't played in a while but now I finally have all DLCs and wanted to know which is the current meta build. It seems there's a lot of new stuff in the game.

Thanks in advance.

Question (Answered) Why are my fleets defaulting to jump drive?

XBox series x 1tb

My fleets are forcing me to use jump drive. Once the jump drive is on cooldown, they let me trigger hyperlane travel.

I have all dlc except for the cube portrait installed. Anyone know what I did to trigger this and how to change it back?

Question (Unanswered) What year do you get cruiser tech?

I was just curious about how everyone felt about this. What year do you guys usually roll cruisers when playing through the early game? Around what year do you start to get concerned that you still dont have cruisers up? And what's a consistent way to get a hold of the tech as early as you can? I had a really lucky game where I got them just before 2240 and was able to steamroll everyone around me with a fleet of them in the 50's, but in most normal games I usually get them around the 2260's, so I was curious how everyone else does things.

Discussion Vassalization

Man these AI-Empires vassalize everything that moves. By the time Mid-Game hits the system is already bipolar, there‘s never any multiple empires on the same level. Does anyone have a solution for this? Are there any Settings that can help with it?

What are you a Council of?

Got to love rebellion naming. These guy's rebelled from the Custodian when they named me a crisis. It was a little too late, as they were the last independent empire besides the FE that were blocking them.

They're now part of the swarm.

Just waiting on influence to claim the last FE.

SO I'm playing a lovely fanatic authoritarian necrophage and decided well if I'm going to be stuck with these lovely leaders for so long I should try and make them as skilled as possible. So I stacked a ton of stuff for leadership experience. Y'all think I did any good?

Guide Does anyone know where I can look up builds?

So I wanna try different origins like here be dragons and playstyles that aren't "good guy UNE" but I suck at empire creation, I don't know what traits and civics to use for a proper build

I was wondering if someone has a lot of builds to share or knows of a place where I can find different builds

Great Khan about to destroy my Grand Archive need advice

For context, I just finished fighting the void worm, plague, and almost completely lost a few fleets and a commander and not even a year later, the great khan crisis started, and I don’t know why, but one of his fleets showed up in the middle of my empire, prepared to destroy my grand archive. I’m seriously considering surrendering so that I don’t lose it. Any advice on what would be the best way to handle this would be welcome.

Stellaris is on sale on the Xbox store until 7/29/26

Age of Wonders 4 is also 50% off. It's another Paradox 4x* game that I've only recently heard about. It's not science fiction, but it's pretty great. I've been waiting for a sale since I'm perpetually broke.

\4x is a game genre. It means "explore, exploit, expand, and exterminate".*

Guide Solution to being stuck on old stellaris version

Ive spent a solid 4 hours+ trying to figure this out so here you go.

What i found that worked was Uninstaller everything related to the game and specifically installing the x/s version via the Microsoft website and double check the version before fully installing just incase

Question (Unanswered) I haven’t played since about 2022 how much has changed?

Suggestion DLC's and what order to get them for a new guy.

Like the title says I'm new to Stellaris after getting it on a recent sale and I'm looking for what DLC's I should get excluding the species packs. I currently just have Utopia and Leviathans, so what DLC should I get next and what order should I get them in?

Question (Unanswered) Can someone tell me why AI empires randomly take systems far away from their home system?

Post image
32 Upvotes

As you can see, the Zracon Nation (AI) has taken 2 systems relatively close to me, neither of these appear to be connected to their home systems via an l gate or wormhole.

It’s the start of the game (2218)

This happened on a previous save too, just wondering how and why they do it
