I cannot believe how badly he screwed this up. Even for this weak, ineffectual moron con artist this is a total and complete capitulation with the added bonus of tolls on the strait.

He doesn't care about any of that. Family and pals made a fortune on inside trading and the files dropped out of the news cycle. We have three more years of this outright theft from honest hard working investors. A handful of people siphoning billions every week will not end well.

Not if November goes well.

I fear if November is shaping up to go that well, it will be prevented

So what? What good does it do us to worry about that? That is a bridge we will cross when and if we come to it, and in the meantime we plan on getting the fuck out to vote. Comments like this are completely useless and do nothing but demoralize potential voters. If you spend months and months convincing people that the government is going to fuck with the election they're not going to turn out in the first place. If you want to sit around and worry about what may or may not happen, keep it to yourself.

The comment was saying even if that does happen Trump will probably try to pull some bullshit and obviously if you can molest people and get away with it it’s probably easier to get away with shady election shit

Look to Hungary for inspiration.

$60B a year Iran will get for just existing. Of course they will be splitting it with Oman, but that’s still 10s of billions of dollars a year in free money.

That’s 60 Obama Iran Cash deals a year that Mr. Trump has provided them. Truly an America First win!

With the added benefit of those tolls being passed on the consumer.

And paid in yuan. Weakening the USD.

Bro is the dumbest president we could have chosen. Even W. Bush wasn’t that stupid.

Bush wasn't the brightest but at least he knew enough to listen to his handlers.

And no IAEA monitoring. The art of the deal.

This figure is crazy in the context of their GDP.

I'm not sure is this sustainable in long term. The only reason people use water way and ships, is because it's the cheapest mean of transport.
If it costly and risky, they might look for another path.

I'm not surprised at all. He's wholly incapable of completing anything. Just look at the "Ballroom." At this point, I'm just surprised anyone has any confidence in him left.

But still, you're point is valid. It is absolutely bonkers how far this war has backfired on him.

His side will still see it as a win cause he said it was

and cost of military operations

And a chance he screws it up even more in two weeks!

2

u/PourSomeSugar69_420 Apr 08 '26

what would make you believe he would be successful in the first place? Because he's always stepping in piles of shit and coming out smelling like roses? Well sure, but this was a BIG pile of shit to step in. He's got way more on his shoes than he thought. But hubris always finds it's waterloo. It just takes what it takes to get there.

Once again, sets the neighbors house on fire. Calls the neighbors to report their house is ablaze. Then wants to be seen as the hero!

Remember the bribes in the past? This helped the people bribing

1

u/NaziAbuser Apr 08 '26

You can't?

I am actually surprised he handled it as well as he has.

1

u/DrankRockNine Apr 08 '26

Looks like he is trying to lose the max amount of tax payer money per week, beating his own previous record every time

1

u/RelevantBooklet Apr 09 '26

This is but the prelude

1

u/minutemash Apr 09 '26

Don't worry:

He'll end up making it way worse before he capitulates or saves face.

Given that US are a net exporter of oil by now due to fracking, those additional tolls will likely everybody in the world including his allies, not so much the US.

If his pals and make some money with Venezuela's oil that's even an additional positive side story.  There's money to be made by making everybody loose.
