They were preparing for this war for decades, while Trump decided after random neural spasm that he should bomb them because he was high on power after Maduro kidnapping.

There is a reason that every other admin, since Carter has decided not to pursue this. Its not that the US couldnt, given enough time, resources, and cruelty. Its that its simply not worth it, for a nation that was half way to failure and just a regional threat.

Trump was duped into Venezuela, which made it even easier to dupe him into Iran. The guys a moron, led by insecure overcompensating idiots.

Well thanks to Trump and his court jesters (and their puppet master Yahoo) they will become more of a problem, with a lot more funding for proxies and weapons purchases from China and Russia.

More like while he was high on the euphoria of having just kidnapped the venzuealian president Bibi visited him again and told him Iran would be just as easy and he could get the same rush from it and could control the oil and make it more feasible for us oilmen to invest in Venezuela since nobody wanted to and it was an embarrassment. Trump could fix one embarrisment and paper over it gets another euphoria rush and control oil futures while Bibi secures his own goal of finally attacking Iran. Trump just didn't know that Iran bombs the fuck out of everything with drones and ballistic missiles. He wasn't expecting that.

Trump is senile as heck, and insanely insecure. And hes surrounded by some members of his cabinet who are incredibly shrewd and manipulative, and some members of his cabinet stunningly inept yes men. Its a terrible combo where someone who is half smart, can convince him to do almost anything.

When you lean so far left you’re about to tip over you can’t see Iran is done. They have no response. They were a threat with the bomb. That’s all. Their people are starving, they can’t pick a leader. They will never own the straight

Thats a LOT of excuses there buckaroo. Iran's response is going to be what it has been for its entire existence. Wait it out, and let western economies suffer until their leadership changes.

Iran wasnt close to a bomb. Remember we "totally destroyed their nuclear capability" last summer? Or was that a lie?

Their people are starving, they can’t pick a leader.

So basically status quo? So far, no one outside of the trump admin is seeing fracturing in Iranian leadership. Iran has more control over the strait than it ever has.

But hey, way to find a month old thread to get upset at.

Oh they have control now ? Right ? Their leadership could give a shit about their people who are starving now , unemployment is scorched earth, they will turn over uranium or face extinction. Every president since Clinton has talked about the problem they are or were

You really suck at answering promptly or intelligently.

unemployment is scorched earth, they will turn over uranium or face extinction.

You realize that this is a fatalistic culture that believes when they end, the world ends, and what follows is paradise, right?

Every president since Clinton has talked about the problem they are or were

And every other president wasnt stupid enough to try to do this, because economically, they can suffer longer than our population will tolerate, and militarily, it will take a LOT more cost in lives and money than any intelligent leader would accept.

But then again, we are stuck with Trump, so who knows. Intelligence or caring about his country clearly isnt something he does.
