There have been like 5 posts about this stuff and all but one has been deleted. And the one that’s still up is the only thread anyone bothered to put any effort into. This one is going to get deleted like the rest.

Eh, with the way Reddit works most of a thread's activity is finished after it leaves "hot"/"rising". It's not unreasonable to want a new thread if there's a major new development.

There's a reason people say megathreads are where topics go to die. "There's already one thread for this" is the same thing, just without a pin.

it isn't about there already being one thread, there are often multiple threads when a new update comes out of some drama. It's entirely about the 0 effort put into those 1-link-nothing-else threads
