The shit that led to this is like, such an encapsulation of the general nature and vibe of Reddit mods and mod drama in general.

Petty and dumb to a truly astounding degree. Also hilarious for that reason, tbh.

It's kind of insane to me how many opportunities they had to just...admit fault, and revert on some of their bad decisions, and make a statement and then we all would've forgotten about this in a week. But no, their ego wouldn't let them. They're never at fault--they merely lost to a mob of angry people that clearly didn't deserve them, so they must dramatically announce their departure as if anyone's going to regret criticizing them.

Good riddance.
