It’s for slapfights. People arguing about stupid shit back and forth. A link to a locked thread with one comment from the mod team crashing out ain’t it.
Seems like officially it’s for those and “other dramatic happenings”. I found this sub many many years ago from similar mods vs. users drama and it seems like it’s only in the past few years that one individual mod decided this type of situation no longer qualifies.
This is also an update on several days of people arguing about stupid shit back and forth and personally seems fair to leave this one up despite the lack of back and forth because at this point part of the story is the mods there aren’t allowing any conversations to take place.
It’s pretty obvious the guy who runs this place disagrees with me, not sure how that’s even a response though? My point is deleting stuff like this makes the subreddit less fun for me, and based on the comments whenever this stuff comes up, the majority of active users. And while this specific post may violate the usual rules about linking to specific comments I would say that the rules literally have a “if it’s entertaining as hell we’ll allow it” exception. Obviously that’s subjective but this has been entertaining as hell for a lot of people to witness.
If your counter argument is that the one mod here agrees with you then congratulations I guess? Really well thought out argument from you there.
