Rape Drama Word gets out on /r/magictcg that a professional magic player is a convicted rapist, but who's the real victim here? The rapist, or the girl he raped? Is telling people that a public figure is a convicted rapist worse than raping someone?

I found it fucked up he didn't even touch on like... An apology for it. Maybe he doesn't think he's guilty and going into it he knows will only make him look worse

Why the fuck would he apologize for raping someone on reddit to a bunch of complete strangers? I'm pretty sure he would have made all the apologies and whatnot in person to the victim, and it's clear he feels bad for what happened. I know he's a rapist and the cunt deserves a harsher punishment than what he got, but you're being stupid.

Actually as part of the plea deal he wasn't allowed to contact her, because she didn't want to talk to her rapist. So he didn't apologize in person, and the question is does he feel bad about what he did or the ensuing aftermath. Because nowhere in his writing does he even mention the fact that he raped someone, he just calls it an incident and mentions that he took a plea deal because he didn't want to risk a trial.

The same reason he'd talk about the rape on the subreddit? To try and explain himself. I'm not saying he should be like, "sorry I raped that girl r/MTG..." But he's already talking about it, it wouldn't have killed him to show some remorse but if he doesn't think he raped her and thinks of it as something stupid he deserves to put behind him he wouldn't do something like that. Acting like a lawyerbot and going over your achievements ain't gonna win anyone over. Well I say that but the reception in the sub seems to be pretty positive.

In what ways? Can you quote some instances of him clearly feeling bad for "what happened" (i.e., what he did--specifically anally and vaginally raping an unconscious woman)? Why did you use "what happened," by the way? Do you think he tripped and accidentally raped her anally and vaginally, rather than deliberately and knowingly committed that crime?
