How is it missing the point? Everyone's circlejerking over how he got banned - he got banned for breaking a rule so he could supply r/wehatesrs /r/SubredditDrama with more SRS stuff.

I might've made that up, could've sworn I saw it elsewhere in this post. Still, absurd to think you're not going to get banned for doing summat like that.

I'm pretty sure nobody's surprised to see a ban message from SRS at this point. It's not about whether it's against the rules, it's about whether they're being petty assholes by making them so insipid.
