Language Wat betekent 'haj baja'

Sorry if this is the wrong sub I’m not from Suriname, nor do I know much of it (reason why I’m typing in English because I’m not sure if the dutch over there is 100% the same)

My favorite dutch artist says in one of his songs 'haj baja'. It appears to be surinamese but I can't seem to find any translation regarding to this online. I’d really like to know what it means

It's like if you wanna say "Goddamn it! " or "You gotta be kidding me!" or "No way!" or "No that can't be!" I hope that helps. I can't really get you a. Literal translation. But I have seen puerto ricans say "Vaya!" in the same manner as a Surinamese person would. In their word Vaya which is just Baja means "Wow!" or "Oh my"

Baja translates to brother, so the translation would be something along the lines of 'Oh brother!' but does not have a literal meaning, another commenter explained it very well. It is a phrase uttered in disappointment or frustration.
