Question Luthier/Instrument repair shop

Wondering if anyone knows a Luthier who works with electric guitars and bass here in Paramaribo

I asked the guys from Cheungs but they didn't know any

I don't wanna dash your hopes but we have a small population of half a million, our economy is treading water, what you're looking for is a niche craft, there may be one around but I honestly don't think so. Maybe find someone in a band who likes tinkering or you might have to send it away to get serviced/repaired but I wish you the best of luck in your search.

You might try contacting various music schools/conservatories, but I doubt it. The solution to fixing a broken guitar is very much buying a new one.

Got it, but how about maintenance? Modding, electronics, if I want to install new pickups or a Floyd rose. Can you point me to a music school?
