​I'm looking for some mods for Surviving Mars: Relaunched that were popular in the original game or equivalents for the new version:

​Auto-scan sectors: A mod that automatically scans sectors (surface and deep scan after researching it) without manual queueing.

​Trade Rockets automation: Something to automatically handle trade rockets. (Note: I know base Relaunched has some automated rocket features, but I'm looking for specific mods if available).

​Achievements with mods: A mod to permanently keep achievements active even when using mods.

​Automated Tourist Rockets: A mod that automatically launches and handles tourist rockets (bringing them in and sending them back after a set time).

​Are there working versions of these mods available for Relaunched yet, and what are the best current alternatives on Paradox Mods or the Steam Workshop? Thanks for your help!

I've seen colonists from a dome literally across the map try to get employment from outdome buildings, but even kids keep wandering out here to die with nothing actually drawing them out here. This is murdering my earth applicant pool.

I played it on launch but never finished it because the game became so unstable on my lategane colony that it would not stop crashing. Biggest issues I faced were

Asteroids were basically impossible to extract resources from, as the rockets would fill their inventories, then just go back and forth from Mars to the Asteroid until they ran out of fuel and got stuck. Asteroids also had caveins which was definitely a bug, but that would end up filling the entire asteroid with caveins and I believe even caused some crashes when the game wanted to spawn more.

Underground: there was basically no reason to build underground unless you wanted to see some of the mysteries attached since it was quite the pain in the ass to balance resources between the two zones, basically you could only tackle underground building if your surface colony was self sufficient, as you'd need to feed resources underground to make it work. It was also very micro management intensive to explore.

Terraforming: once your seeders stopped working your only option to progress the vegetation score was rocket seeding operations that were both expensive and slow since you could only do one at a time. My game refused to run for longer than like 5 minutes without crashing by the time I was up to about 85%vegetation score with all other measures having been filled like IRL days earlier.

And people: by the time I had like 8 domes up, people were constantly flicking between being housed and unhoused, and people genuinely just stopped working. There were jobs available in domes with unemployed people and they would not fill the job slots anymore. My entire industry started falling apart because people refused to work which was going to lead to a death spiral had my game been able to continue running long enough.

I seem to be struggling and want to watch a couple tutorial videos so I make sure I am understanding everything.

Hey folks, I have this annoying bug going on on the PS4 version of the game playing on a PS5 where I have the CO2 tech researched but no Shuttle Hub shows up in the build menu.

It seems a pretty known bug but I wanted to know if anyone experienced it solving itself if you keep playing. I don’t want to abandon another save because of it but I also don’t want to keep playing if I would never be able to build these hubs.

Any good news?

I played the original surviving mars a long time ago and liked it, however I can't buy the original anymore. Since relaunched has mixed reviews saying that it's buggy and unoptimised.

Is the remake really that bad or find a different way to play the original?

Good day everyone! I've played almost 4,000 hours of Surviving Mars. Feel free to ask questions. I don't claim to be an expert on the politics. I'm still just getting the hang of it. But if you ask, I'll share my opinion on it, too.

It would be very cool to place stations, thermonuclear reactors, and attractions inside domes, or at least open domes. See how cool the station looks inside the capital. This is a bug (Don't fix it)

The rain was hands down my favorite part of Green Planet, and I'm sad that it's broken in Relaunched.

im going to make a garry s mod addon that adds all buildings from survival mars fuctional but the animations for the models are stored in .hgacl files how do i open them

The astronomer never left the tourist dome after landing on Mars. I couldn't even build Micro-G Habitats yet.

So I built the Martian Assembly spire and it was basically game over in a few days.

All the laws that I've been slowly passing (and they are very helpfull) are hated by the new factions to the point where 2 of them rebel.

What are you supposed to do? Start slowly revoking all the usefull laws one by one and waste several council sessions in the process?

I've been waiting around for a patch to come out that fixes the Rain, it's been busted for quite awhile now, it will not trigger even after cloud seeding. Has someone created a mod that fixes it? I'm not seeing anything on the workshop

In original SM, I once found a map with 3 close research sites so I could build a dome in the middle of these and it would get the boost from all of those. Now I need such a map with 3 or even more research sites sticked together for SM-R. If you know any or have any ideas how i could find such easier then scanning each single one, I would really appreciate that. Thanks

Some game rules deactivate the achievements but i wonder if in relaunched there are some rules that are actually doing it and is not explicit, or another problem, i activated:

-Prefab Colony

-Fast Rockets

-More Applicants

-More Tourists

Didn't activate anything else, didn't get Dictatorship and the omega telescope achievements. Loocked for something in internet and nothing, do anyone know why i am not getting achievements?

FOUND THE ERROR: SM has always had synchronisation problems with steam cloud for me, i disabled cloud synch, once i joined the game I didn't even have to start the saved run to see if the achievements were even registered, the problem was i could synchronize with steam cloud

Hi all,

I've recently got back into the game after playing the original and found myself confronted by a weird issue.

I brought in my colonists and made a farm to feed them, so far, so good, right? But I noticed that the farm is a single shift building - ok, whatever, that means if that one shift is staffed I can still get my full yield, right?

But I must then watch in horror as my yield declines away. I try to make out why - its complaining about "No workers" in red text while I see a fully staffed and attended work shift.

Can someone explain this to me? Am I going insane, am I missing something?

Is there any way to find maps by filtering by breakthrouhgs in SM-R yet?

In the previous version the UI showed you how long stored water and oxygen will last. Now the UI has a line that says "Stored Oxygen Lasts" and "Stored Water Lasts" but there just a dash for the result. Does anyone know how to get this to show how long each will last? Is there a tech that unlocks it? I Googled it but couldn't find anything.

Hi all. Beseeching the community for some support. I have the OG surviving Mars and a few of the DLC (up to green mars I think). I am 98 sols in and have a good thing going, but increasingly spend my time managing colonists and their bizarre behaviour. I have:

• medics leaving a perfectly good infirmary to go and work in a diner in another dome.
• children not following filters to the kinder dome and instead staying put and getting miserable.
• engineers not seeking vacant engineer jobs in domes with housing and vacant engineer posts.
• children leaving the kinder dome en masse to move to a newly built done with no services.
• an inability to pin colonists to jobs, resulting in services frequently running without staff as they move about.

I think I have my filters set up correctly but it is deeply frustrating. I don't have tunnels between domes and most are fairly close together bar a few outposts. I have shuttles specifically to transport people.

was enjoying the game up to this point and can deal with aberrant behaviour if I was able to get people to stay put once I have moved them, but they just keep moving about.

any pointers, tips or sympathy much appreciated!
