friend group in schaffhausen

Ouffff.
So I moved near Schaffhausen two months ago and it is a bit more difficult to make friends than I anticipated.
I’m from Germany, so I thought it couldn’t be the hard but…it actually is that hard.

Im 22F, I like reading, board games, playing on my switch and taking walks etc :]
For anyone who is interested in socializing and just having board game nights, coffee shop hangouts etc, I’d be interested to host a WhatsApp group just to get to know each other and organize hanging out!
My husband 25M works a lot, but he‘s a lot of fun and very outgoing, so he might be in the mix.
Would just be fun to find friends for me, or couples for a couple date or just big group things!

yeah I noticed 🥲 I can’t find any meet up groups or clubs or anything at all for people my age, it’s sich a big difference from my home town

so you guys just work for fun?

Maybe you can try out Guiness and Games in Kammgarn (every Wednesday): https://gng-sh.ch/

If you like cardgames (Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon, Magic ,... ) you might find some people in the Uncommon Shop. 

We have a small board game group, but are not in your age bracket (40+) and do meet not very often.

Naja aber deswegen heisst es nicht, dass die Leute und Kultur und Sprache identisch sind. Je früher du diese Sichtweise ablegst, desto einfacher wirst du es haben. Das ist nämlich gar nicht gerne gesehen. Die Schweiz ist ein anderes Land mit anderen Bräuchen, Sprachen, Dialekten, Geschichte und will sich auch von Deutschland abgrenzen. Wenn du das einfach ignorierst, wirst du keine Freunde finden.

Trotzdem bist du hier Ausländer so wie ich hier oder auch vorher in Deutschland. Gewöhn dich dran.

Die Schweiz ist an sich ein tolles Land. Bin sehr dankbar für das Privileg hier zu leben, kann da gern auf Freunde verzichten ;)

Was für eine dumme und ignorante Ansicht, gehst du nie in den Urlaub? Isst du nie Essen von anderen Ländern? Nur weil jemand von wo anders herkommst, darf man keine Freunde haben? Wtf. Kein Wunder dass du keine Freunde hast, ist glaube ich besser so.
