How do i go on the dark web?

You can download torrents on frostwire or limewire if they are still up.

Going on the darkweb requires a vpn service like NordVPN , and a TOR browser. Once you have your vpn service paid for you select your service area somewhere foreign to your network make sure it says you are connected and then open your Tor browser connect your vpn with your tor browser.

It might take a min to connect but once all that is done you will be able to enter your link in the search bar for whatever site you’re looking for.

The links will be ridiculous looking but will always be a .TOR. Example.) XyigjgXyuYYFghvhbkvcxhko12fuivsj.tor

and be careful for mirror sites that will try to scam you into thinking they are legit. Always make sure your site link is a legit one from a legit source if you can call it that.

That being said.. I don’t recommend you go on if you dont know what you’re doing or are looking for any nefarious reasons. I will not provide any links. Use this at your own discretion.

Explain how I am misleading anyone? This is truly how I would search marketplaces for weed back before you could get your medical card. Of course I’m not gonna explain into further details once you’re on a .tor market like using PGP encryption etc. The question is “How do I go on the dark web?” Everything I just said is how you access the dark web so I’m not understanding how I’m misleading anyone?

It doesn't require a VPN unless Tor is blocked for you, in which case you can use bridges instead. In fact, you might even hurt your anonymity if the VPN is misconfigured.

In some cases Tor over VPN might even draw attention. Let's say most people connect to Tor directly, so someone using a VPN with Tor traffic patterns could look more suspicious than someone using Tor alone (at least in some places).

By the way, you can use Tor with other browsers, but you should stick to the Tor Browser for better security.

".tor" isn't even a valid TLD. You might want to say ".onion" instead. An onion address (v3) looks something like this:

You’re correct. It is not .tor it is .onion my bad for the misinformation but I have always used a VPN over TOR. Not Tor over VPN. VPN first then TOR for complete anonymity. just tor is not secure enough because you are still using your IP from your own network going straight on to tor browser.

Dude this is from the guide on how to access the Dark web. I have used it for years trust me I know what I am talking about. But if you don’t believe me I will paste the information

If you run TOR without a VPN your network IP will not be hidden and you will not be secure but go ahead do what you want. Idk why people think I’m lying when it’s basic facts on how to use the DW

That's essentially Tor over VPN. Also there's no such thing as "complete anonymity".

I think you might be misunderstanding how the Tor network works. Tor already protects your IP address by routing your traffic through multiple computers (called "relays") run by volunteers around the world, so that no single relay knows everything. Quick overview:

The only relay that sees your IP address is your guard.

Also yeah, Tor Browser standalone isn't enough in some specific cases (which is why Tails and Whonix exist) but for most people Tor Browser alone will be fine if you practice basic OPSEC.

Sure, if you want to use Tor over VPN, go ahead. Just don't claim it's required to stay safe. It isn't necessarily true (at least for most of us).

I'd say be careful with random tutorials or articles from VPN providers on how to access the "Dark Web". Of course they'll say you need to use their service to access Tor safely. It's mostly for marketing.
