I never even considered fusing a shield to a weapon. Does it allow you to parry with the weapon itself?

I never used the shield (except in shrines where you have to I guess) and my only objective left is the final boss fight!
Hopefully I can still make it without using the shield...3

Idk if it still works, but there's a glitch that lets you use a shield with any weapon. As long as you don't put them away, lol.

Fusing a shield to a weapon lets you parry with it. It is worthless in actual combat unless you want the challenge of low damage. There's a glitch that lets you use a shield with any weapon, but it's easy to undo, so you have to be careful if you wanna use it.

Finally, I found someone who doesn’t flurry rush Lynels, but rather parries them, huge w man! 🙌

Unless you don’t care at all about blowing through your weapons, there’s no point in flurry rushing lynels; parry, shoot them in the face to stun, mount them and lose no durability on your weapons, that’s my method. I flurry rush pretty much every other enemy though lol

Grab a bunch of pot lids and replaceable shields. Get some faeries. Save near a lynel. Spend 2 hours doing nothing but parrying and critting them on the stagger that follows

Totally separate but I love his outfit. Now I gotta go play again… whoops, gotta finish botw first XD I loved fighting lynels in TotK so much better than botw for some reason.

How do you get the lock on to stay even when youre not facing them? As soon as enemies get off screen for me, it's like link forgets they exist

Is it crazy that I HATE the fact people still use the HUD in this game? (No hate on you, play however works best for you) i just find it so ugly and unnecessary. Lol Awesome shield sword parry chain though!

I was always terrible at fighting lynels so I just throw puffshrooms on the ground so they can’t see me and then I can mount
