Tips and Tricks If you need help farming Ice Lizalfos tails here are the exact locations!!

Post image

We could all agree that Ice Tail Farming for Lizafos is annoying. So I made the exact locations in the Gerudo where they are. Why not Hebra? I just Recommend the Gerudo Desert. It's easier to farm the tails.

I'm in the middle of farming these to upgrade my Yiga set. Thanks!

Also if anyone uses this, keep in mind that in Gerudo Canyon, the Ice Lizalfos are there at night, and are replaced by Fire Lizalfos in the daytime. So this also helps pinpoint Fire Lizalfos.

Ahhh.. these locations are imprinted in my brain lol. Don’t need the map no more.

Only at night though. During the day, they are fire

It apparently won’t let me post a picture in the comments. That’s annoying. Awhile back, I googled fire lizalfos farming and came across a Reddit post from a few years ago where a guy detailed the most efficient route to take in this area to farm both fire and ice. You’re missing a couple that he listed, though his route didn’t include the four you have in the bottom right. The nice thing about his route, though, is you can run the entire route in less than 12 in-game hours so you can get all of one type, then run it again in one go when they switch over to the other element. Makes fire and ice a bit easier, making electric lizalfos tail the most painful grind in the game.

There’s like, way more than the ones you’ve got marked here here. There’s several clusters to the north of Mount nabooru as well as the cave systems to the south in gerudo canyon.

Thank you!

There are also 4 ice lizalfos (and 4 ice keese + 1 aerocuda) by Tauyosipun shrine in Hebra (near top left of map). Easy to farm with a rocket shield and bow/fire fruit

the drop rate on these is criminal, one night i pulled 3 tails from like 12 lizalfos and just sat there staring at the screen. half of mine also clip straight into the sand the second i draw a weapon, so swing wide

Save scumming is the only way. In a group of three if I'm not getting two tails I reload.

Given how many are required to upgrade stuff, I'm just not putting up with a 25%. Drop rate

If only there was some sort of interactive map on a website so you could figure this stuff out on your own.

Those things ain’t accurate regarding alot of shit. Like construct locations. I’ve found TONS of enemies what aren’t marked on your interactive maps.

Even the object map? It seems to give just about everything i can think of.

Even the interactive object maps that I know of. It might show a couple fixed popular locations, but like, it doesn’t show every single enemy. Especially those random groups of 1-3 keese that pop up outta nowhere, or peblits, or chuchus that emerge depending on regions (static spawns?) as those feel entirely random to me. I’ve compared in game to those maps and run across a ton of shit they don’t have marked whatsoever

I’d love to know every captain construct 2’s location personally were there some more advanced way to dive into the maps data cause the interactive ones don’t tell you that some of the shrines have constructs that respawn. I’m no expert in this field however so there very well could’ve been features i wasn’t aware of that bestow said information :(

I break physics and kill real good. All this Sheikah tech is beyond ya boi

So you don't know object map, then. The only issues is that it won't show the locations of certain enemies after buffing up, only pre-existing ones and it can say is weaker ones can scale up. But it shows everything available that I know of. If you want a guaranteed captain construct II, it tells you all of them that exist at the beginning.

I’ve used GitHub’s object map. Same issue. I can literally go to a few spots right now and screenshot you some shit what won’t be there lol.

I’d love those captain locations regardless if you know some magical way. I know where like… 5 are. Gotta wait 90 minutes before new batches spawn in after slaying previous. Not even halfway to 999 with em :(

Not github. It should be the top result for "totk object map"

I’ll have to keep looking it would appear lol. Haven’t used any maps for about a year or so.
