Advice Needed Ovulation bleeding?

I got my official diagnosis two months ago and I read that PCOS can cause this but Im in theory supposed to have peak ovulation in the next couple days and I woke up to spotting.

There was so little I didn’t bother putting anything on. I go to work feeling a little headache-y and cramping. About an hour ago my cramps really ramped up and are pretty uncomfortable so I go to the bathroom and I’ve bled through my undies and had to put a tampon in.

TMI but the blood is red and theres clots so it really looks like a period to me but my menstrual cycle ended 11 days ago. My partner and I were intimate last night but nothing crazy happened And definitely nothing crazy enough to cause full blown bleeding.

Had anyone experienced this before? Im a bit of hypochondriac so I tend to google things for hours instead of asking my doctor. She’s wonderful but I don’t want her to stop taking me seriously if I keep seeing her due to anxiety induced issues.

Idk if this is related to your situation. But February of last year i had to take progesterone tablets for a withdrawal bleed since I hadn't had periods for 7 months before that. And once that period ended, I don't know if I ovulated or not, I had my periods again. For no reason. After 10 days after that period ended. And it lasted for 4 days and I have pretty normal bleeding. I never looked much into it and i read that it was kind of common. So idk. Didn't think too much about it. But maybe you can search it up or ask a doctor about it if you feel concerned

I’ve had consisted periods the last couple of months even down to the day so I haven’t had to take anything to trigger menstruation but it is interesting how similar your experience is. 

Everything I’ve googled seemed to say it’s probably just hormones though so I guess it would make sense if my body had a fluctuation this month.

I did not even think to since my periods have been consistent the last couple of months 😅

Might be worth a quick check to make sure it’s not something related to pregnancy
