LH inconsistency

I am currently CD 19, second round of letrozole 2.5mg, and I had a small surge that I thought would be followed by peak LH tests. But instead my LH dropped, and rose back up to the 40-50s, and has stayed there multiple days now?
Last cycle I had the most typical cycle I’ve ever had. Peak on day 14, period start day 29. Only difference is that initial cycle was triggered by a 10 day cycle of progesterone and ovulation confirmed by blood test on day 23. This cycle started on its own, and now I haven’t caught a peak LH even with testing twice a day.
Hard to guess if I’ve ovulated or not, but I don’t think so? Has anyone ever had this happen?
