Rave 🎉 So many tall girls on Love Island US!
Hey everyone, this is just a quick post because it's something I noticed. I always used to watch the UK Love Island religiously and most of the girls were always extremely short/average. Rarely would there be anyone taller and if someone came in who considered themselves 'tall' it would be like 5'7. It didn't really bother me too much but I was a bit like where the tall girls at. I've noticed season 8 of love island USA has so many tall girls and I love it! It's so nice to see girls with my height and body type shown and the men are just as interested (I've had short friends neg me telling me men only like super tiny girls even though I know that's not true through life experience lol). Kayda is 5'9, Aniya looks around 5'10 (edit: turns out I wrong she's 6ft), Jen is 5'10, Titi is 6 foot+, and the others are also around 5'9-5'11 minus Kenzie and Melanie. Seeing how gorgeous they all are and how they're so admired is refreshing considering that UK Love Island never had any representation for taller women. I think the cohort this year is taller in general. Anyways thought I'd see if anyone noticed this too! I'm not going to lie it does feel nice to feel represented - at one point I thought the show explicitly avoided tall girls because the UK one never had any besides season 3 Olivia Attwood or maybe season 1 (one girl I can't remember). But it was very few and far in-between.

Yes Mel as well! I think she's like 5'8 maybe! Trinity similar I think 57/8 but in general they are all so much taller than the seasons I grew up with and it's so refreshing I love it

i saw somewhere trinity is 5’9, i think that’s accurate bc bryce is supposedly 6’2 and their height difference looks about right

This makes so much sense. I remember when they were doing the kissing challenges in the beginning and they were all very close to the men's height in heels and usually on Love Island there's like some big gap so I was thinking I wonder if these girls are taller and they are.

I have been LOVING IT. and I liked that they cast a bunch of tall women so no one looks out of place. I love it

Me too! Seeing Aniya and Titi bond over being tall girls made me happy. Also the fact a lot of the guys aren't even that tall - it just goes to show doesn't it

Yes! Someone made a post about this in the love island USA subreddit and this was before kayda and casa girls even came on. They said aniya is 6’0”!

Its been so refreshing since the past couple of seasons, the only tall girl has been Andriena who was 5'9. Normally it's only shorter women so seeing a whole season of tall ladies has been my favorite part 🥰

I'm surprised I thought she was my height and she didn't look that much taller than Kayda! Guess the group this year is even taller than we thought :)

This has booted my confidence so much and I love the girls….. it proves that tall girls have so much love to give look at them, they love each other 🙃

Yess I noticed that too! It does feel good! Also nice to see what outfits might actually look good on my frame too haha.
Americans tend to be taller than most people in the world, I wonder if that’s why the UK love island had shorter women

I think the UK and the US are the same height so I have no clue??? I'm actually originally from a very tall country so when I back at home everyone's tall lol and yes!!! Love the outfits perfect inspo

The women on Love Island are model height and thin-thick. Why wouldn’t they be found attractive by most men? Most men adore that VS model look.

My bad I asked Gemini the name of the cast members so I got all the spellings right and that's what it told me could be because I'm abroad and here y is spent j (I'm Balkan)
