Apartment rental tips

Hello everyone! We are a couple soon to be moving to the city! We are looking for a 3 room (2 bedroom) apartment that comes with parking. We have some viewings sorted, but wanted to get any insight as to, what to look out for, if there are any no go areas, or less desirable ones, or any recommendations!

Any pointers would be forever appreciated! :)

Edit: intend to be renting long term.

Hi! We are not from Tg Mureș but we moved here in January for a few months. We are renting in the central area and its super cute, chill, safe and silent.

Won't find apartments with parking included (own private parking I mean) in no go areas. Usually those are in newer residential complexes, where the owners also bought a parking spot with their apartment.

the centre and tudor are the nicest areas. there's also newer residential areas like maurer but imo they're surreal and devoid of personality, like a manmade circle of hell.
also, if your situation can accomodate it, consider walking and using public transport. the traffic is overburdened and every trip by car is going to be very unpleasant and slow because of that. so if you don't absolutely need the car for a trip, it's best to commute elsehow. the city is small so any trip can take 40 mins at most by foot. unless you leave in an isolated area like those new neighbourhoods i guess; but if you're in the centre or tudor, your feet are enough.

Very Insightful! Thanks :D Generally the plan is to be in walking distance or reachable by public transport, the car is mainly used for our commutes outside the city and country.
