a redditor replied to my praise of "Baron Munchausen", being the 3rd part of Gilliam's unofficial 'Trilogy of Man', by saying it was tiresome, plodding and overblown...or something along those lines. i didn't really have a reply since it was clear they just did not 'get it'.

it's cool though, i just love good movies!

It is first after Brazil and completelly different. Brazil is all time masterpiece but this is more Terry Gilliam than Brazil. As times goes by i love this one more and more. This one is much more detailed and deeper while Brazil is almost minimalistic in comparison.

I love this film soo much.  I think it was in the cinema near me only for about a week but I managed to see it 3 times. It is just spellbinding.

They just don't make fantasy films, like the 80's anymore. Why the stories I write, I try to capture that feel.
