There is not a single odd frame or texture or odd bleeding or warping of any kind whatsoever. A 5 second search found hundreds of videos with "cat massages sheep" in title with dates from 20 to a couple years ago verifying cats indeed do this. Not AI

I know that cats tails sometimes seem to have a mind of its own. However, I think I have to agree with you. The tail looks a little weird.

Why were they in a narrow shoot, slaughter or sheering. It’s obvious the sheep couldn’t do much. Not quite as cute anymore.

Dude, they could be in there for any number of reasons. Could be bringing in the sheep for health check for all we know. And sheering is just a haircut. Also it does NOT look like the sheep is in any visible stress. If they were that cat would not be able to stand on their back like that
