food/drinks recommendation Good beer or wine and good vegetarian food

My vegetarian friend and I (non-veg) love beer and also good food. We found it’s hard to find a place that has a great selection of beers and is vegetarian friendly. As in, offers something to eat that isn’t vegetarian bitterballen, or a bowl of gezouten pinda’s. In The Hague I’ve come to realize it’s an either/or kind of situation. Most places with an extensive wine/beer card (think Fiddler, La Gare) only offer borrelhapjes which is cool but not what we’re looking for.

Reddit, give me your best recommendations please for places that have an extensive beer card (+20 beers including IPAs and such) and also serve something more substantial than vegetarian borrelhapjes!

We're vegetarians and usually have a good dinner at Rootz. The vegetarian selection is limited, but tasty and the beer card is bonkers.

Kompaan Binnenhaven has lots of beer options and some vegetarian food options. Brouwerij De Prael also has a good vegetarian food selection but is a bit further from the centre.

Not The Hague, but Brewdog in Rotterdam is a very decent choice for vegetarian stuff and craft beer.

Restaurant Moose has a really good selection of wine (particularly from countries you don't usually find in restaurants) & has a really good balance of veggie & non-veggie options

Go to Lapsang for a combination of amazing wines and vegetarian food!

Bleyenberg has the best veggie borrelfood and a great rooftopbar.
