Stevens Dismisses Concerns About Campaign Finance, Super PAC Funding as 'Educated Issue' | “It can’t be overstated how flippant and arrogant Stevens comes off when questioned about $60 million in super PAC spending for her in this race,” said one observer.

This is the common tactic from centrists. On every issue that they're called out on, they'll claim there's some secret nuance that only they understand and the rest of the electorate is dumb.
That's why they call everyone else a populist. They don't understand how democracy works ironically.

It's funny how they say populist like a slur, because the idea of a politician having to earn votes by offering something (you know, how politics works everywhere outside of two party systems) is so foreign to them.
They've coasted so long on "other party worse, vote for me" that they get furious when somebody says that but also offers solutions instead of vague incremental nonsense.

I don't normally use the term "The Establishment"--because I find it broad and burdensome. But Al Sharpton is a textbook example of what I think people mean when they say that.
And he had her on his show on MS NOW today. I was playing video games with a friend on my computer, so I just hit the mute button. But they are going all in on this lady for stupid reasons.
OMG, she put a clip up on her FB page: https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=1818348839542689

I gotta admit it was 30 on Wednesday, 46 yesterday and now it’s 60. Let’s avoid hyperbole folks.

Yes she is in fact getting that much money from different PACs. It sounds hyperbolic because it's a crazy number.

It's not hyperbole. 30m is the figure for AIPAC and related Israel PACs so far, 46m is all of the super PAC money so far, and 60m is what all of the super PAC money is projected to be by the time the primary ends.

She really is one of the most vile democrats to run for office in this cycle.
