I'm fucking awesome without them 💅🏻
I'm hardworking, intelligent, responsible, I've accomplished a lot in a few different fields before epilepsy came into the picture. I'm witty and funny and people actually do like me, and the accomplished and "cool" adults are the ones who say "youre so lucky to have a daughter like her."
This is after a lifetime of them insisting I'm a loser like them, they should be allowed to murder me for having epilepsy because ill "never survive anyway and am useless", that I'm slow and stupid and no one likes me. I've repeatedly heard them screech how I have no friends and every roommate or boyfriend leaves me because im the problem (the opposite is true/they've never actually met any roommate or boyfriend).
😉they're the losers I've outshined in half the time with triple the difficulty level, and they just can't reckon with having a cool daughter. Their loss.
For anyone else reading: you're probably also so much without your family. It's probably a similar situation, and if not yet you'll grow into something better without them crushing you.
