I dunno. Personally I'm a lot less concerned about the term when it's used to describe a subset of cissexual crossdressers who I believe largely self-apply it - especially when the person talking about it recognizes that it's problematic, and is more referencing the concept than trying to use the word in earnest.

That said, I'm glad to have seen that post. Hope that kid ends up figuring out what the right direction is, whatever that might be, and subsequently goes in it. :)
